The Systems Electronic Group, Inc. was formed in 1982 to provide technical advice and support to users of industrial and educational television systems. Since local distributors and salespersons often provided conflicting information, we were initially asked for impartial recommendations. This quickly expanded to include purchase reviews, installation assistance, training, system design and troubleshooting.

As the demand for our services increased, so did our resources: SEG can draw on the experience of other broadcast engineers and technicians as required. Our staff’s experience includes TV Network maintenance engineering, alarm and closed circuit TV installation, Production engineering, Systems Operations management, microprocessor programming, automation engineering, RF engineering and maintenance and frequency coordination. Based on our Network experience, we implemented a system documentation procedure that includes computer-generated cable ID numbers, wiring diagrams and cable run lists. In addition to providing our clients with copies of all system documentation, we maintain a database on all systems we design and install. This enables SEG to provide rapid telephone assistance in most cases, and permits timely updates and modifications to the system.

We now serve over 135 customers statewide, yet we have been able to give each project individual attention while keeping our fees competitive. The quality of our work and customer satisfaction are our primary concerns. Since we have no exclusive affiliation with manufacturers or distributors, our designs and recommendations are impartial, based on our experience and the customer’s requirements.
